Research interests

My research sweet spot? Three main areas: how humans and tech get along, boosting leadership, and making work a happier place. But I am always up for a good side quest into new topics—I love expanding my expertise beyond the usual.

#1

Human-technology interactions

I explore how technology shapes work-related outcomes and opens up innovative ways of working, offering new possibilities for the future of work.

#2

Leadership

I am interested in leadership research, with my recent focus on the topics of authenticity and self-regulation. I am exploring how leaders can remain true to their values while managing their emotions and behaviors to lead effectively.

#3

Well-being

I am interested in topics related to well-being and creating healthy work environments that allow people to thrive. Mindfulness has been a key area of focus for me, along with related concepts like motivation and attitude, which play a crucial role in determining individual performance.

The power of

Personal interests

Life’s sweetest moments, like coffee, are often bittersweet, enhanced by a balance of emotions and the passage of time. Drinking coffee with an old or new friend bridges the time we don’t spend together, whether in academia or life overall, bringing connection and purpose.
